Rencent travels through the high desert of New Mexico, during the evening hours, as the sun set, gave me a whole new appreciation for this lonely land. The fleeting light, development of shadows, sunset colors and darkness falling gave me myriad ideas for painting. It was all a gift, the moon included. I have a new love for lonely places.
