First Falls, Morialta

Morialta Falls only run after a good rain. It was late autumn and the night before there had been heavy rain so I took the chance and walked up the National Park trail. I was so excited to see the First Fall in full flow with large amounts of water cascading over the sheer cliff. The most I had ever been lucky enough to witness. What's more, the sky was blue and the sun was shining! It was just wonderful to see, and I knew I just had to paint it.
